Global HR Platform Pricing for a 200-Person Company
Last updated: September 26, 2026 · 7 vendor pricing pages read on September 26, 2026 · HRStak is one of the products compared
What does a global HR platform cost for 200 people?
A global HR platform for a 200-person company costs whatever it charges per person, multiplied by the people you actually run through it. That is the answer most comparison pages bury. Global HR platforms do not sell a company plan. They sell a per-head fee for each employee they legally employ for you, each contractor they pay, and each person on their payroll.
Put all 200 people on an employer of record and the list-price bill is $119,800 a month at Deel's $599 and $139,800 at Remote's $699. Almost nobody does that. A 200-person company usually has most of its people in countries where it already has an entity, and uses the platform only for the countries where it does not. That is why the worked example further down this HRStak page prices 20 EOR employees and 10 contractors rather than 200.
HRStak shows up in this comparison honestly as a different line item. HRStak is an AI workspace for HR teams, priced at $999 a month flat on Workspace Pro whatever your headcount. It drafts the documents and answers the policy questions for the HR team. It does not employ people abroad and it does not run payroll.
Global HR platform pricing compared: published prices, September 2026
Every global HR platform price in this HRStak table was read from the vendor's own pricing page on September 26, 2026. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so rather than estimating. The 200-person column multiplies the published employer of record rate by 200 so you can compare list price at that headcount. It is not a quote, and it is not the cost of employing 200 people through an EOR.
| Platform | What it sells | Published price | 200 people on EOR, list |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deel | EOR, contractors, US PEO, hiring | EOR $599 per employee a month; contractors $49 each; contractor of record $325; US PEO $125; hiring tool $14 per worker | $119,800 a month |
| Remote | EOR, contractors, global payroll, PEO | EOR $699 per employee a month; global payroll $29 per employee; contractor management $29, Plus $99; contractor of record from $325; PEO from $99 | $139,800 a month |
| Oyster | EOR, contractors, HR advisory | EOR USD 699 per employee a month, annual discount available; contractors free for 30 days then USD 29; People Partner services USD 300 an hour | $139,800 a month |
| Multiplier | EOR, contractor of record, global payroll | EOR Core $459 and Growth $519 per person a month, billed annually, plus compliance add-ons and implementation where applicable; Enterprise quoted | $91,800 a month (Core) |
| RemoFirst | EOR, contractors | EOR starts at $199 per person a month; contractor management free; premium contractor payments $25 per person | From $39,800 a month |
| Rippling | HR, IT, finance, global products | No published price; asks for employee and contractor count and sends a quote | Quote only |
| HiBob | HR platform for distributed teams | No published price; demo request form only | Quote only |
| HRStak | AI HR workspace, not EOR or payroll | Workspace Pro $999 a month flat ($9,950 a year), US, Canada, UK, and Italy; Essentials $249 and Workspace $599 cover one country | $999 a month, no per-employee fee |
Read the table by unit, not by row. Five of the eight products price the person. Two price nothing in public. HRStak prices the plan. None of these numbers include the employee's salary, employer social charges, or benefits, which the EOR passes through to you on top of its fee.
What a 200-person global team pays: a worked example
This HRStak example shows global HR platform pricing for one plausible 200-person shape: 170 employees in countries where you have your own entity, 20 employees in countries where you do not, and 10 international contractors. The 20 go on an employer of record and the 10 have their payments processed through the same platform. The 170 stay on whatever payroll and records system you already run. Every rate is the published list price from the table above, read on September 26, 2026.
| Platform | 20 EOR employees | 10 contractors | Monthly total | Yearly total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RemoFirst | From $3,980 | $250 ($25 each for payment processing) | From $4,230 | From $50,760 |
| Multiplier Core | $9,180 (billed annually) | Not captured in this check | $9,180 plus contractors | $110,160 plus contractors |
| Deel | $11,980 | $490 | $12,470 | $149,640 |
| Remote | $13,980 | $290 | $14,270 | $171,240 |
| Oyster | $13,980 | $290 after 30 free days | $13,980 for the first 30 days; $14,270 thereafter | $170,950 in the first year for eligible new customers, before any annual EOR discount |
| HRStak Workspace Pro | Does not employ or pay anyone; flat fee for the HR team's AI workspace | $999 | $9,950 paid annually | |
Two things jump out. The spread is wide: the same 30 people cost from $50,760 at RemoFirst to $171,240 at Remote in yearly platform fees. Oyster comes to $170,950 in the first year for eligible new customers, including 30 free days for contractors. The vendor choice is worth real negotiation time. And the EOR line is almost the whole bill. Contractors are cheap by comparison, which is why the classification question matters so much in a global team.
The HRStak row is there because the HR team still has to write the offer letters, the handbook sections, and the policy answers for all 200 people, in every country. That work is what HRStak prices, at $999 a month, which is $5.00 per employee at 200 people.
The three units global HR platform pricing bills on
Global HR platform pricing makes sense once you see that vendors bill on three different units, and a 200-person quote usually mixes all three. HRStak bills on none of them, which is why it sits in its own row.
- Per employer of record employee. The platform becomes the legal employer in a country where you have no entity. It is the expensive unit: $599 at Deel, $699 at Remote and Oyster, $459 to $519 at Multiplier, from $199 at RemoFirst, per person every month. Over a year that is $7,188 per person at Deel and $8,388 at Remote or Oyster, in fees alone.
- Per contractor. The platform issues contracts and pays invoices across borders. It is the cheap unit: $49 at Deel, $29 at Remote and Oyster, free to manage at RemoFirst with $25 for premium payments. Contractor of record, where the vendor takes on the classification risk, costs more: $325 at Deel and from $325 at Remote.
- Per payroll employee. For countries where you do have an entity, some platforms run local payroll for you. Remote publishes $29 per employee a month and notes that implementation and recurring delivery fees apply on top, without stating them.
Quote-only vendors fold all three into one number you cannot check. Rippling's pricing page asks how many employees and contractors you have and says it will send a custom quote; its own FAQ says most products bill per employee per month, some carry a monthly base fee, and every product sits on top of the required core Rippling Platform. HiBob's pricing page is a demo request form.
What global HR platform pricing pages leave out
Every global HR platform price above is a starting point, and the vendors say so in the small print. These are the trade-offs HRStak found written on the same pricing pages, the ones a vendor's own comparison article tends to skip.
- Salary, taxes, and benefits sit on top. The EOR fee is the platform's margin. The employee's gross pay, employer social charges, and statutory benefits are billed through to you as well. RemoFirst prices its RemoHealth insurance separately, from $55 per person a month.
- Starts at means it can rise. RemoFirst's $199 is a starting price. Multiplier says it prices to salaries and keeps a list of country exceptions, and adds compliance-mandated add-ons and an implementation fee where applicable.
- Annual billing changes the number. Multiplier's $459 and $519 are billed annually; paying monthly costs more, since the yearly toggle promises to save 8%. Oyster offers an annual EOR discount through reusable seats but does not print the discounted rate. Deel says it is month to month with no long-term commitment.
- Payroll fees you cannot see yet. Remote's $29 global payroll price carries implementation and recurring delivery fees that the page does not quantify. Ask for them in writing.
- Setup fees vary. Remote states no platform, onboarding, or setup fees for its HR management, EOR, and contractor products. Multiplier lists an implementation fee as applicable. Get the first-year total, not the monthly rate.
- Advice is billed by the hour. Oyster lists People Partner services at USD 300 an hour. Expert HR help is not always inside the per-head fee.
The HRStak side of the same list: SSO is not included on the $249, $599, or $999 self-serve plans and goes through Enterprise, HRStak does not include an ATS or payroll at any price, and Workspace Pro includes 500 employee chatbot answers a month, which at 200 people is 2.5 answers per employee. A larger team with heavy question volume should price Enterprise.
Where HRStak fits in a global HR stack, and where it does not
HRStak is the AI layer a global HR team works in, not the global HR platform that employs people. Buying it does not remove the need for an employer of record, contractor payments, or local payroll. What it removes is the drafting load: offer letters, handbook sections, policy updates, performance review language, and the same employee questions asked again every week.
- Where HRStak fits. Your HR team covers people in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Italy and wants one place to draft HR documents and answer policy questions for all of them. Workspace Pro at $999 a month covers those four countries, 5 HR users plus 10 managers, 500 AI generations a month, and the full 81-tool workspace. The price is identical at 50 people or 200.
- Where HRStak does not fit. You need someone to become the legal employer in a new country, to pay contractors across currencies, or to run payroll. That is an employer of record or payroll provider. HRStak's coverage also stops at four countries; for people in Germany, India, or Brazil, HRStak does not draft to local law.
- Where HRStak assists, not decides. HRStak drafts and your team reviews. Hiring, pay, and termination decisions, and any local legal question, stay with your people and your counsel.
Every HRStak plan, including the one-country Essentials at $249 and Workspace at $599, is on the HRStak plans and pricing page, and the full list of HRStak's 81 HR AI tools shows what the workspace produces.
What is a global HR system?
A global HR system is software, often bundled with a legal service, that lets one company hire, pay, and manage people in more than one country. The global HR platforms in this HRStak comparison usually combine four parts: an employer of record for countries where you have no entity, contractor management, payroll where you do have an entity, and one record of every worker. Deel, Remote, Oyster, Multiplier, and RemoFirst lead with the employer of record; Rippling and HiBob lead with the HR record and quote for the rest.
HRStak is a different layer of the same stack. HRStak is an AI workspace where the HR team drafts documents and answers policy questions, grounded in your own handbook, for the four countries Workspace Pro covers. It does not replace the system that employs or pays people.
Which global HR platforms are the most popular?
Rippling and BambooHR are the two names on both of the top-ranking global HR platform lists for this search in September 2026. RemoFirst's comparison names Deel, Oyster, Rippling, BambooHR, and RemoFirst. The Next Web's names HiBob, Rippling, BambooHR, Personio, UKG, Sage HR, and ADP Workforce Now. Popularity here means appearing on those lists, not a market share figure, and HRStak does not have one to give you.
What matters more for a 200-person buyer is whether the price is public. Deel, Remote, Oyster, Multiplier, and RemoFirst publish per-person rates, so you can build the budget before the first call. Rippling and HiBob do not, so you cannot. HRStak publishes all three self-serve plans, $249, $599, and $999 a month.
How much does HR software cost when you are not buying a global HR platform?
Domestic HR software costs far less per head than a global HR platform, because it stores records rather than employing people. Sage HR's US pricing page, checked September 26, 2026, lists $6.50 per employee a month for core HR and leave. BambooHR Core, Pro, and Elite were listed at $10, $17, and $25 per employee a month in HRStak's September 13 check. At 200 people, those published rates run from $1,300 to $5,000 a month. HRStak's per-employee HR software price breakdown by headcount has the full grid, the add-on fees, and the three-year totals.
The comparison that matters at 200 people: the domestic per-head fee is a few dollars, the EOR per-head fee is a few hundred. Keep them in separate budget lines. HRStak's flat $999 a month on Workspace Pro is a third line, and it does not grow with either.
How to get a real global HR platform quote at 200 employees
Global HR platform pricing only becomes a real number once a vendor quotes your exact mix of countries and worker types, so HRStak recommends going in with the numbers ready.
- Count people by country and type. Employees in entity countries, employees in non-entity countries, contractors. The quote depends on all three, and the EOR count drives most of it.
- Ask for the first-year total, in writing. Per-head fee, implementation, compliance add-ons, payroll delivery fees, benefits, and currency conversion, at your headcount.
- Price monthly and annual billing. Multiplier and Oyster both discount annual commitments; Deel is month to month. Know what you give up for the discount.
- Get two published-price vendors and one quote-only vendor. The published rates in this HRStak table are your anchor when the quote-only vendor names a number.
- Set the country threshold. Decide how many hires in one country would justify opening your own entity, then check the EOR bill against it every year.
- Budget the HR work separately. The platform employs and pays. Someone still writes the documents. If that is the bottleneck, price it on HRStak's published plan list rather than in a per-head quote.
For the wider AI side of the HR stack, HRStak's AI for HR guide compares seven platforms on what their AI actually does.
